Basic Digital Photography

Learn about your Digital SLR (DSLR) or mirrorless camera and how to shoot images in the manual modes resulting in better photographs. Topics include:

  • Understanding camera features and functions
  • Understanding Exposure and how to adjust the settings
  • Understanding Focusing and Depth of Field
  • Understanding Composition and Elements of Visual Design
  • And learn how to see like a photographer


  • This class is designed for beginner and intermediate photographers that have cameras that can be adjusted manually (Manual Mode – “M”)
